Plus, it doesn’t shrink or crack, making it ideal for casting moulds. Thanks to it’s quick-setting nature, It’s ideal for school projects as well as hobbyists and artists.

Instructions:

Pour water into a container, sift small amounts of Plaster of Paris onto it

Mix gently with a spatula until all lumps are gone

Tap the sides to release air bubbles

The plaster is ready to pour into a mould when the mixture has a smooth, even consistency and a light grey colour

Handy hints:

For mixing, use approx. 1 part water to 2 parts plaster, however this will vary with temperature of water used and prevailing weather conditions

Never use bare hands to mix or stir plaster, wear gloves
